Moving intellisync portal

Hi All,

A client is getting a new server and we need to pretty much reinstall the whole shooting match, which is not a problem.

The only thing I have any concerns over is intellisync, we will have to create a new portal and reconfigure the clients, however will we need to blow away the existing user config or can we just amend the existing connection and point it to the new portal?, have some concerns over duplicates appearing.

Has anyone done this or have any advise on the best approach to achieve this.

If all you are doing is moving the Server then there should be no issue except needing to update the users endpoint.

Thanks for your response, I was unsure if I would need to blow away the existing config and reconfigure the whole thing, I was hoping it was just a case of repointing.

 Any way to update all users's settings in "bulk" rather than one at a time at their individual pc?

Unfortunately, no RJ. We've got requests into Nokia for the feature, though.
