Runtime error 216

Hi,

Has anybody had an instance where "Runtime error 216 at xxxxxxx" dialogue box pops up intermittently and after then SalesLogix closing down?

Windows XP in users computer and SLX version 7.5.1 

This client was recently updgraded from 7 to 7.5.1. i

We have a client that gets that error when they exit the SalesLogix Administrator.

Have you checked the SalesLogix Compatibility Guide to ensure you are running the required environments for that version of SLX..

Hi Aimar,

I get a very similar issue to this in SLX 7.2.2, but we're seeing a Runtime error 217.

Under normal circustances a 216 or 217 error is seen during the installation of the SLX client, but our client receives the error on a long standing install.

Is the user that is receiving the error using the SLX LAN or SLX Remote client?

When did the error first occur, and were any Windows Updates installed just prior to that?

Sorry for long delay,

I found reason for this Runtime error 216. This error raised when user had lot of SLX views open (like 10-15 Ticket Detail view). We changed code which opens this view and no errors any more.
