The pc is a Win 7 machine with 3.5 enabled and3.5 SP and 4 installed.  Any seen this or know a way around this error?

Re: SLX Desktop integration install issue

Logged in as a local administrator when installing?

UAC disabled?

Latest patches.

IE 8 or better.

SLX 754?

We just deployed desktop integrator's SLX 754 HF 3 (with the October dating issue fix) to 100 Windows 7 64 bit machines with no issues.

Re: SLX Desktop integration install issue

Think I might have seen this before where we had to remove the 3.5+ versions and then reinstall them via Windows Update and that got past it.

Re: SLX Desktop integration install issue

I remember doing something like that.... The existing 3.5 got "nasty" about trying to install 2.0 when 2.0 was never there to begin with.... ugly(microsquish ;-)

Re: SLX Desktop integration install issue

I was able to work around this by adding the user as an admin on the box.  Then after the install I removed them.  Its weird that out of 700+ employees this was only an issue for 2 people.

Thanks for the input
