Great! So we'll want to test before we buy. Sage suggested we get an eval copy of the Mobile Server from our BP. Can BPs provide eval licenses for Mobile? And can they be used against a production database or are they tested against an eval db?

It's a download, expand, install process. During the install process it will ask you if you are doing an eval and you get it right on-line (one of the requirements is that the mobile server have Internet Access). You get 30 days of FULL capability.

FYI - the license is set for THAT system. It is not "portable".

Just make sure your BP has done this (they should have a SalesLogxi Mobile Engineer's cert - it's how the training is conducted) for the later versions (say 5.5/5.6 mobile).
