SalesLogix 7.5 LAN Client -- Change Mail Merge History Option Default

Is there a way to change the default Mail Merge option on the History Options tab so that the checkbox "Add History record for each Contact (may slow merge)" is unchecked instead of checked by default?

We are using the SalesLogix 7.5 LAN Client and want to make sure users do not have this box checked for any mail merge.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

There is not currently a way to change this default setting.
