OK have determined that the install fails at InstallOutlookIntegration.bat which is:

regsvr32.exe slxab32.dll
regsvr32.exe slmn.dll

 

Running this file bring up the immediate Microsoft Register Server failure.

It had failed for me (a year ago) and had to run it "elevated".

Well that worked to register the DLLs but it still says database log in failed with unspecific error.

Ensure the correct version of the SQL Server Native Client is installed..

Thanks to RJ and Adam for helping me on this. Once I ran in elevated and then re-installed the SQL Server Natice Client it worked.
