Crystal Reports - User Printed Report [ Edited ]

Hi Everyone!!!!

I want know, how i do to print the SalesLogix User that printed report.

Pls, Help me!!

SLX 7.2.2 CR 8.5
In Field Explorer, under Special Fields, I would use: Current CE User Name
Add that Field to your Header or Footer as desired.

It doesn't work!

Current CE User Name is used with Crystal Enterprise (CE).

Dang - I knew that was too easy.

I tried "File Author" and that seemed to work but I'm not sure if it worked because I'm the author of the developed report or because I'm the author of the printed report. You obviously want the latter and I think it might work. It's far more common to want to print the name of the person who printed the report than the one who created it.

BTW, I incorrectly indicated CR 8.5 where I should have had CR 11.5.

Can you force a crystal parameter pre-report render?  Just make a dropdown select.

Are you refers that the user can choose the SalesLogix User in parameter window listed in dropdown?

If the above is the solution that you suggest, this don't useful to me. I need automatically the report, know who is the user that have requested report on screen

Did you try "File Author" as I described above. I'm not 100% sure but I think this will work.

File Author, doesn't work. This refers to who created the file o report. I need who generate it.

Wow! That is sad! Surely there must be an easy way (variable) to identify the logged in user who is printing the report!!! Maybe you should go try a Crystal Reports Forum and see if they know!
