Importing From ACT!

The current import Wizard does not contain templates for importing from ACT! versions past version 5.   There is a feature request referenced in the Knowledge Base for templates past version 5.   Will this request be fulfilled at some point?

Re: Importing From ACT!

Most of us use InaPort to do ACT imports.

Re: Importing From ACT!

Inaport's the only way to go. Especially if you have the Sage Migrator maps for ACT. Makes life much easier

Re: Importing From ACT!

Thanks RJ, Mike

For other readers - Inaport can be used to do a complete migration from ACT! to SalesLogix. Can be used to bring across:

* company and contact

* history and activities

* opportunities

* linked documents

* email

The provided maps can be completely customised to handle dirty data, custom fields, or more complex matching to reduce duplicates being brought across.

Restrictions: cannot do recurring activities or ACT groups.

Can also be used to do equivalent migrations for GoldMine to SalesLogix.
