SLX 7.0.1.1069 - Outlook 2010 - Win 7 question

We are currently testing SLX on Win 7 Pro and Outlook 2010. On XP and 2010 we do not experience this issue.

If a user opens SLX first and then clicks the shortcut to open Outlook they receive "another instance is already running" and they must right-click to open Outlook from the icon in the notification area.

If a user opens Outlook 2010 first, SLX loads but won't connect saying unable to contact Outlook.

Is this an issue with the SLX version we are running or a setting within Win 7 we can tweak?

SLX 7.0.x does not support Office 2010.. and AFAIK it never will.

Time to upgrade to 7.5.4+

I while 7.0 on win 7 is not supported at all i have gotten 7.2 and outlook 2007 to work on win 7. 
I know with 7.2 you have to run SLX as administrator in order for it to connect to the DB. because windows separates "administrator" and non-administrator applications it will not be able to see outlook when it is running as a non-admin. The resolution was to verify outlook was closed (not running in the background) before starting SLX. Then when SLX calls outlook it will open with "run as administrator" security. The other option is to manually start outlook as administrator. 

While this works I do not like it. It is probably very unwise to run your email client with the extra privileges.

Run away as fast as you can from SLX 7.0.1.1069. What a nightmare.
