I've tried out that with SLX 7.54 and it seems not to work.

Two Datetime controls in SLX Web are bound to an already existing and a new Date field in DB. The existing Field I've changed in sectabledefs as described in this thread to date. SLX server has been restarted.

When I enter  the dates in the Browser (2011-11-01) in DB is written 2011-10-31 23:00:00.000 so the conversion of the provider is still working.

Does  anyone has a solution for the problem?

I would hazard a guess you have DST still selected within the Date and Timezone settings?  Try taking this off.

No, we're here in Germany (MET). It's not possible to take it of because of other programs which need the correct local time. I would say SLX Provider has to avoid datatime conversion if the field has the type "Date".
