We are finally upgrading to the latest version of Saleslogix from the old 7.01.11. as was hoping that we could run it on Mac Book Air as are Sales Dept is trying to go all MAC on all devices. We are being told that SalesLogix is not supported on the MAC without PC emulation.
Anybody successfully running SalesLogix on a MAC OS?
Thanks

No, SLX doesn't run on the MAC OS , Web Client in the Safari Browser, LAN Client, and we've even had issues with running on the MAC XenApp Terminal Server client (it doesn't recognize Window's Time Zone differences in the SLX OLE DB Provider stuff\GMT\UTC).
SLX 7.54 does run through SLX Mobile 1.2 on Safari.....we're running it successfully on Mac Air, Powerbooks, iPhone, iPad....
that would be your best bet.

The mobile version I saw a few months ago that ran on my smartphone doesn"t have the same functionality that the PC version has. Is that still the case?i.e. can't search for Account by city, state, etc. only contacts by name.

It's improving with each version of SLX Mobile.
It's not the full PC Version. But it runs more functionality on a Mac OS than any other SLX client.... ![]()
The reality is that SLX is not a Mac application....and hasn't been since the gitgo 15 years ago this February.
I'm still looking for a shop that needs my Pascal programming skills for CRM..... (and yes I have fond memories of booting up a DOS system on my Mac using an OrangePC motherboard.....that's circa Nashoba Systems Powerpoint 1.0 for those in the know....and whatever happened to Cricket Software???).
