Do you all have any tips for finding the right plugin in SLX Architect? There are times where I spend hours pouring through forms trying to find the right one. There's got to be a better way- right?
If the form is not intitively named, you should be able to open the closest plugin (which opens the form you want in the Client) you can identify in Architect and follow the code. The better you get at reading VB, the faster it gets.
Are you looking for ActiveForms or Legacy? Trying to locate a view or script in legacy took some real detective work sometimes.
I'm trying to work with the list view/detail view in Opportunities (still), and change the highlight row & text color. Ive found what I thought to be the correct form, changed the highlight properties of the grid to the values I'd like to try,saved and released the plugin, hard refreshed the client, and nothing. no changes appear.
MikeB is talking about the datagrid control. The (group) ListViews are not built w/a datagrid control and are hard coded as part of the SalesLogix exe itself. Have been for 13+ years and no change is on the horizon.
