Call the custom page for insert opportunity-product and bind it to grid

 i want to call my new custom page on insert opportunity page to create new opportunity-product....but i have only two fields i.e product name and ammount

but the problem arises when i am trying to bind it to the grid...bcoz grid having other values too....so to resolve it i am passing blank or 0 values to the other grid column but it throwing error at the time of calculating exchange rate...please tell me the solution either to solve this problem or the way so that i can directly bind my custom form values to opportunity-product grid

I'm assuming you are referring to the Web Client, which version?
