I've got a client that is locking down Add Account to a 'team' of dedicated CRM professionals that know a Dupe when they see one and are paid by how many fields they fill out perfectly....unlike your average salesperson......[just teasing].
So users can't add an account......
OOTB give the users Add Contact......
and you guessed it, they can't add a contact....
WHY?
Because the addContactAccount selector form is tied to a SecuredAction.....you guessed it Add Account.....
MeThinks that the Dev guys at SalesLogix aren't talking to the guys in the street who are actually using the SalesLogix product from a motel room before a big presentation to Wal-Mart.
This is poorly executed.....and leaves the partner community footing the bill for 'customizing' OOTB functionality.....
