Ability to Use Role Based Security to Hide\Display Navigation Bar Icons and Menu Items

Status: New Idea

Request to have ability to select who see's which navigation bar icon and menu item without using code.  For consistency I think the best option would be to extend Role security in the Application Architect so that you could "Allow Role" to navigation bar icons and menu items the same way you assign a role to a new form.

I believe we have satisified this need in the upcoming 7.5.3 release.

How was this satisfied in 7.5.3?  I haven't found it.

Can you explain where this is in 7.5.3?  For example, how do you prevent exporting at a role level?

it seems to work only for accounts, contacts and opportunities. Not for custom entities or leads entity.
