
Our customers LIVE in Outlook, like it or not. SendSLX and Record To History have become a competitive challenge.
We need "Outlook2CRM - like" integration (inclusive) which allows consultants (or even customers) to build work "processes" that spawn AFTER basic validation checks occur.....like is the Contact in the database, No?, then help me add the contact and then continue with the process I started. Doing everything from one button (which it doesn't do) is not the answer.
Having to purchase a 3rd party add-on (as awesome as it is) is a show stopper in many deals. The other show stopper is the fact that we are being driven to the web, yet no new Outlook Integration was introduced to this new and advanced environment.
The amount of time that someone who lives in Outlook has to spend dealing with these delinquencies is sginificant. 3rd Party or Interna. We need comprehensive Outlook integration. See Infusionsoft
Although it's another third-party product, people looking for a additional SalesLogix sync options might want to check out our Riva Integration server.
Because Riva provides transparent server-side integration between SalesLogix and Exchange, there are a number of situations where Riva can fill the user adoption or integration gap that exists with the current Outlook plug-in limitations (ex: Outlook Web Access or Mac users).

2. Regarding the above exchange sync comment. That has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. While I'm sure it's great, I'm talking about integration to process and workflow. Not synchronization of emails.

This idea is accepted by Sage, does somebody know what is going on and what the status is? Is there a process? Are additional ideas needed?

- Add Marketing Campain E-Mail responses
- Add Encrypted E-Mail messages
- Open Tickets from E-Mail
- Add SLX Communities Threads to Tickets
- Add Contact from Social Networks to SLX (Xing, Facebook, etc.)
- Add GMail-Account to SLX
