User-definable option to "delete" sent or received e-mail after "Send SLX/Record Selected Message..."

I send or receive an e-mail, and I then dutifully Send SLX or Record Selected Message(s) to SalesLogix History.......now it would be good to have two new checkboxes in Tools, Options, E-mail, History Options: "Delete E-mail after Send SLX" "Delete E-mail after Record Selected Message(s) to SalesLogix History"  Why this request?  Well, if you use this Advanced Outlook Integration feature for a while.....sometimes you can't remember if you've already

"Recorded to History", and it takes time to look.

 

 In terms of integration, e-mail should be a slave to CRM.  Which comes first?  The e-mail or the contact?  

 

This feature request was originally posted in December of 2004.  Timmus disagreed 5 years ago.......anyone agree today?  Debate welcomed.

I'd prefer to see:

   A - A visible flag in outlook that tells me we already did this

   B - A warning that we already did this if we have done so.

I still have the same opinion - Sage should not delete emails. I agree with your goal: make it easy for users to know if they already recording an email to history. I think RJ's suggestions are a good start.

While we're at it... in the Administrator.  It would be nice to have a picklist for "When Saving: Save To Only, Save CC (no BCC), Save ALL" options.
