Auto generate email when activity is scheduled

When we put in a ticket, the email window automatically pops up with the ticket information pre-filled in it.

I would LOVE for the same thing to happen when an event is scheduled.  For example, when we schedule a consultant to do work, I would like the Outlook box to pop up with the Subject line matching the "regarding" field in SLX and the body containing the comments."

This would save me the headache of having to remember to start, create and send the email from scratch.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Depending if this is Windows or Web, the customization to do this can be quite different. Do you have any Saleslogix Developer training?

Or you can just implement a tool like TaskCentre.

It is windows 7.  We have some guys that do script writing and ave dabbled in our own SLX, but we do not sell it so no need for much more than that really.
