Can I reset the "New Messages" count to 0?

I'd like to quickly see which boards have messages new to me. So, I'd like to be able to simply reset the New Message count to 0 when I want, whether I've opened all the messages there or not.

 

How can accomplish this goal?

Hi Jerry,

 

In the "My Profile" link in the green bar at the top of the community, there is section under the Preferences tab called "General Settings".  In this section you have a few different options for changing the way that messages are marked as read.  You may want to try the option to "Automatically Mark after Logout" so each time you visit the community only those messages that are new since your last visit would appear in the new column.   I hope that's helpful.
