Using a simulator is one of the easiest and most effective ways of demonstrating SalesLogix Mobile. One added feature that many people overlook is that these simulators can be 100% self contained, meaning you can zip them up and run them on a Windows machine that has never had SalesLogix installed on it. Of course mobile.saleslogix.com is still available to do an Over The Air (OTA) download of the SalesLogix Mobile demo software onto a real BlackBerry device, but working with simulators can be a nice alternative especially if you want to customize SalesLogix Mobile or if you need to show SalesLogix Mobile working on an online meeting.
Steps to building a self contained customized SalesLogix Mobile Simulator
You are done. The folder that contains the simulator is now your customized self contained simulator.
Note - I have found that everything runs fine if you remove the Debug and Java folders from the backup of your self contained simulator
